Jesus, The Best Friend

Jesus is the best friend any of us could ever have.

No one can love like Jesus.
No one can forgive like He can.
No one else can save us.
No one else has the power to change us from the inside out.

He knows everything about us—yet He loves us still.
He understands the challenges we face, for He faced them too, and He cares for us deeply.

Other friends are imperfect.
He is perfect in every way.

His wisdom is beyond measure.
The greatness of His love was displayed in His willing sacrifice for our sins.
The surpassing greatness of His power was revealed in His resurrection from the dead.

Other friends may fail us—but He never will.
Other friends may desert us—but He will never leave us nor forsake us.

He may not give us everything we want, but He always knows what is best, and He faithfully provides what we truly need.

In Him we find true peace.
In Him we possess a deep and lasting joy.
In Him we have a certain hope, even when every other hope seems to fade.

He is a friend to all who will trust in Him—no matter their age, gender, color, or standing in this world.

The richest person on earth is still poor if he does not have Jesus as a friend.
The poorest person is rich beyond measure if he does.

And when we breathe our final breath, it is friendship with Him that will bring us safely home to heaven.

And when we see Him face to face, we will stand in wonder and marvel at Him forever.
